I am currently the Student Pastor at Sedalia Baptist Church in Mayfield, KY and have been doing student ministry for 15 years. I have been on staff with several different churches in that time in Central & Western Kentucky and a short stint in West Tennessee. I have 2 boys, Josiah 8 and Jonah 4. In 2017, I lost my first wife, Savanna, to breast cancer after a 6 month battle. In early 2018, God brought another Godly woman into my life, Katie, and we will be married in September of 2018. I am also an avid, but not obnoxious, Kentucky Wildcats basketball & football fan and makes no apologies about it. I also love video games, the Nashville Predators hockey team, Atlanta Braves baseball and San Fransisco 49ers football. I also love to watch the WWE with my sons. If there's one thing that I have learned over my years in ministry and in life, is to completely lean on the Lord. I know we all say it, but to truly do it, is such a freeing feeling.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
