What is Jam Time?

Everybody get up, it’s time to slam now. ‘Jam Time’ is a fast-paced screen-based mixer game where every student in the room must pick different teammates each round to stay in the game. Students try to avoid being the last team to complete the task or they'll get benched (not to mention the public embarrassment of losing in front of their friends)!

Gameplay Rules:
Each round, students attempt to stay in the game by completing one of the five formations shown on screen. Make sure that every student in the room understands each formation BEFORE you begin playing and how many partners are required for each formation. After students understand how the game works, a video will be played on screen (any of the videos will work) revealing one of the five formations. Students must partner up with others to complete the formation on-screen to stay in the game. If they are the last team to complete the formation, they are ‘benched’ and are out of the game. This game can whittle down to one player left if that is the desired outcome. If you are choosing the 1 player option, make sure you make it clear that the last person down is the one who will be benched for that round. The videos for this game can and should be played randomly in whatever order you see fit. This means that you can play this game more than once.
