Details

Most people know that soccer is the most popular sport in the world. But what’s the second most popular sport in the world? That would be cricket.

Cricket has 2.5 billion fans worldwide. And yet, your students probably can’t name ONE international Cricket star.

International Cricket Stars Name Game gives your students a chance to see a name of a world famous Cricket player, and try to guess which country he is from. Each question has four possible answers.

Your group will have a blast guessing the home country for Cricket’s biggest stars, like:

Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Faf du Plessis
Elton Chigumbura
Virat Kohli
Wahab Riaz

And yes, those are real names.

This game can provide a good introduction to a discussion about:

  • how the world is a big place, and our cultural interests are very small by comparison
  • how fame quickly passes and often goes unrecognized
  • how students should focus not on fame but on finding their true identity in Christ
  • how students should live for an audience of One
