It's as simple as this: show a slide containing a series of emojis to participants. When they sound them out, they attempt to guess the ice cream flavor represented. Your puzzle solving super youth will enjoy this game as well as anyone who likes ice cream or texts you with ridiculous amount of emojis.

This game can be played in a number of ways: 1. Up-front game with a few contestants (we like guys versus girls on this one) 2. Group game (at a table) in which groups of 3-6 students com-pete against each other. 3. Crowd game in which everyone plays and the first one to raise their hand gets to answer. Also, you can let your winner(s) receive ICE CREAM to enjoy in front of the group (nothing says unity like ice cream smack talk or ice cream smacking in this case); or, give your students a gift card to the local ice cream eatery.

After serving 10 years at NASA I decided that I wasn’t reaching for the stars enough and became a youth pastor because rocket science isn't enough of a challenge! I love seeing teens get to know Jesus and am currently serving Dogwood Church in Athens, TX. My wife Karen and I were married in 2003 and together we have three young boys named Emory, Liam, and Grayson.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
