Over the last 2700 years, the Olympic games have included some pretty weird 'sports.' In this screen game, your students must guess if the picture shown is a real Olympic sport or not.

Details

What do wife-carrying, ostrich racing, and dueling pistols have in common? They may (or may not) have been actual Olympic sports at one time. This screen-based game challenges your students to identify the real and fake Olympic sports.

Our favorite way to play this game is to get students moving. Here's how: have all your students stand. If they think the Olympic sport is real, students move to the right side of the room. If they think the Olympic sport is fake, they move to the left side. It's an easy way to get people moving and laughing.
