Details

When we think of fishing, we often think of long hours in a boat, wondering if we will get a nibble on our line. Then maybe after what seems like forever, we get a bite, set the hook, and reel in a huge fish. We head home with a story (and maybe a fish), a fishing story that ultimately will inspire ourselves and others to go back to the lake and fish again. Jesus called his first disciples to become "fishers of men." Fishing was what they knew, but part of fishing is knowing how to tell a story, and Student Leaders need to like fishing.

Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student.
Just make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there).  If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.
