As leaders, we have two primary jobs when it comes to sharing our faith. We are responsible for tilling the soil and planting seeds. It's exciting and gratifying to be part of the moment of harvest when a person accepts Jesus for the first time. But getting to that point takes time, energy, and resources. In a world that is often focused on short-term gains and immediate gratification, we've got to think like a farmer. Farmers think long term and focus most of their efforts on cultivating and growing the harvest.

Growth takes time, and students need to understand what it means to plant, so they don't get frustrated in the process.

Option 1:  Use this in a Group Setting
\r\nFollow along in the Facilitator’s Guide and you’ll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you.  The student handouts are on a separate file; be sure to make copies for each student in your group.
\r\n

Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student.
\r\nJust make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there).  If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.
\r\n
