"longDescription": "To be a great leader, we can’t just forge ahead on our own. Leaders need to have and be aware of who is coming along behind them. And they need to know the people they are leading in order to lead them well. A shepherd needs to know what will motivate the sheep to come when he calls. A teacher needs to know how to best encourage her students to learn and interact with the subject. As our example, Jesus shows us that he knows each of us by name and leads us by knowing us in a deeply personal way. \r\n
\r\nHOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE: \r\nOption 1: Use this in a Group Setting \r\nFollow along in the Facilitator’s Guide and you’ll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you. The student handouts are on a separate file; be sure to make copies for each student in your group.\r\n
\r\nOption 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student. \r\nJust make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there). If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.\r\n
