Editor’s note: The “Purim Party” is a very interesting idea that I think many youth groups will have fun with.

Not by Chance is a fun journey through the book of Esther. Even though the word “God” isn’t mentioned anywhere in the entire book, we will see in Esther’s story that God has a purpose for each of our lives—that He has gifted each of us with different ways of serving Him, and that there is victory in Jesus.

This series also includes a game, as well as a Purim Party planning document. The holiday of Purim is a Jewish holiday in which participants celebrate the defeat of Haman, and it is also a great way to end a series on the book of Esther.

My students have named this as their favorite lesson series I have taught since beginning in youth ministry. I would agree that this has been my favorite series to teach, as well. Very interactive, very fun, and such a captivating story of God's sovereignty!

This Resource Includes:

5 weeks of word-for-word teaching manuscripts

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
