Note from the Author

Our family ministry team hosted a family trivia game night on Zoom using "Kahoot!" It was probably the coolest thing that I've done in the quarantine, but also maybe during my time as a youth minister. We had around 25 families join in on our call and it was SO cool to see them sitting together on couches and around the dinner table. It allowed some families to meet other ones or get to know them more and they just got to have a ton of fun during this time. PRACTICE!! Play this with your adult leaders first to get a feel of how to be a phenomenal host.

Isaac Leimeister

Born in Ohio, I grew up with a passion for Youth Ministry. Seriously, I was in second grade when I wrote in the back of a book "When I grow up, I want to be a Youth Minister." From there, I went to Johnson University, graduated and married a beautiful gal from that state up north (I'm still trying to convert her), and we have a boy and a girl that make me laugh more than anything.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
