A short, humorous video about why students should be nice to their youth pastor.

Details

This short, humorous PSA uses three Scripture passages to encourage students to "be cool to their youth pastor."

It works well when introduced as a serious PSA that everyone can benefit from. Having a volunteer introduce it deadpan would work well too.

Can be used alongside a lesson on what it takes to be a leader, (Youth) Pastor Appreciation Day, or during a talk about Summer Camp/Mission Trip expectations.

Be Respectful // You shall honor the face of an old person and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:32

Be Attentive // A young man named Eutychus sat by the window and sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on and on...Then Eutychus fell from the third floor and died. Acts 20:9

Be Nice // Elisha was walking along the road when some youths came out of the town and jeered at him. "Get out of here, baldy!" Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths. 2 Kings 2:23-24
