We know parents are a crucial part of effective youth ministry. If we can partner well and help equip them, the teens we are working with will benefit even more. This 5-week series is set up to be informational (give parents a better understanding of who you are and what your ministry offers), inspirational (encourage parents to press forward and be the primary spiritual investors in their kids), and transformational (provide tools and tips that parents can use in their parenting).

WEEK 1 - WE WANT YOU TO KNOW: Five things every parent should know about the role of the youth ministry.

WEEK 2 - LASTING FAITH: The ultimate goal is to see teens’ faith continue and grow once leaving for college or whatever comes after graduation. Four questions that can help instill a longer-lasting faith.

WEEK 3 - SOCIAL MEDIA & CELL PHONES: Practical information and thoughts on how to help students be wise consumers with cell phones while making sure their cell phones don’t “have them.”

WEEK 4 - PRAYING PARENTS: Thoughts and tips on how to ramp up parents’ prayer lives for their teens.

WEEK 5 - Q&A: Pull together a panel of your Student Ministries staff, volunteers, or pastors to discuss multiple questions.
