The Roots of Compassion is a series about the people all around us who need to feel loved and cared for.

Week 1: If compassion isn’t readily flowing to us and through us our planet will stare for lack of comfort and care. In recent years it’s become very cool to “care” about social issues. But here’s the problem… if compassion is something we do and not something we are, are interest in caring for the forgotten, neglected, abused and lost will be short lived.  We have to figure out how to ROOT ourselves in compassion.

Week 2: We like the idea of the compassion of God in America—we love to talk about compassion forgiveness and mercy. But what would a life actually look like that was shaped by it?

What does a life looked like that’s shaped by God’s compassion?

Warning: Because our resources are inexpensive, fresh-off-our-computer, and created for our own youth ministry, there might be some typos, logic-leaps, and some bonehead mistakes. If you buy from us and use our stuff, that’s all part of the gig. We’re not claiming everything on this site is inherent or infallible (we might argue for “inspired”… by caffeine).
