We’ve added another “Know It or Throw It” game to the series, but this time, it’s all about love!

This is a simple and fun game for almost any sized youth group. This game rewards the knowledgeable (in the case of a correct answer)—AND the casual observer (in the case of an incorrect answer)!

Here’s how you play:
• Bring a student (or a bunch of students) up to the front to play.
• Give the student a piece of Valentine’s candy.
• If they get the answer right, they keep the candy.
• If they get the answer wrong, they throw the candy into the audience.

Here’s what’s included:
• JPEG Slides (1920px x 1080px)
o Title Slide
o Instructions Slide
o Ten gameplay slides (question and answer)
• PowerPoint File (editable)

After serving for 10 years in a local church youth ministry setting in Calgary Alberta, I now serve as the Youth Ministries Director for Alberta and Northwest Territories for the PAOC. I'm passionate about helping youth pastors and their teams reach teenagers for Jesus in effective ways.

My wife and I were married in 2009 and together we have three fast-moving, never-quitting, fun-loving young girls named Emery, Willow, and Harper.

Things I love: Jesus, family, youth ministry, and fitness.

Things I like: Reading, shoes, and HGTV.

Things I hate: Crowds and wet socks.

Great Upfront Interactive Game

This was a great battle of the sexes game.

If a guy answered a question wrong, he would have to throw it to the girls. If he was right, he got to throw it to the dudes.
So fun

My students looooved this game. The kids who weren't called on stage to answer the questions were still engaged, and it was an easy tie into our lesson about the "adultery" commandment. It was a hit.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
